How to Read a Free Phone Provider Listing

Start with the service

A provider page brings together the company’s contact details, directory states and collected service information. Check whether a figure describes a service discount, a plan allowance or a handset promotion. Those are different things. A free service plan does not by itself mean a phone is included.

Treat coverage as a starting point

A provider’s appearance in a state directory is a reason to investigate, rather than proof of coverage at your home. Ask whether it is accepting enrollments at your address and which network and service terms would apply.

Read the evidence beside the offer

Collected records retain their source status. A dated official-source summary confirms only the facts described in that summary. Prices marked under review have conflicting observations. Compare the full bill, device conditions and application requirements before choosing.
